Rev. Curtis Q. Taylor is Pastor of Progressive Missionary Baptist. July 25, 1992 and has remained pastor. In 2022, Pastor Taylor and his wife Minister Kathy Taylor were instrumental in collaborating with LIHI (Low Income Housing Institute) and the County Government (Martin Luther King County) to establish the Progressive Skyway Tiny House Village, a village to serve the homeless in the Seattle area. There are over thirty tiny homes that serves as a place for homeless people to live and transition to permanent housing.
